For the early part of our lives Tony & I grew up together. Being my first cousin and just a year younger than me and living only 3 blocks apart in the Bronx we spent a lot of time together and frequently just "hung out together". At about the time we were in high school Tony's family moved to Long Beach, Long Island while I stayed in the Bronx. However that separation didn't keep us apart. Our families spent time together in the summers in Long Beach where Tony and I and his best friend Peter Laspina were like the Three Muskateers. Alas upon college graduation I moved to Connecticut, then to Dallas, Texas and finally upon retirement, to New Mexico. During those years Tony and I had very little contact. I was saddened to hear of his passing especially at such a young age. I cherish the time we spent together and will never forget my "good buddy". My most sincere condolences go out to his family.

Time and distance do nothing to diminish the memories of youth and growing up in a loving and supportive family. Memories of my cousin Tony are frozen in a simpler time when everything was easy and fun and he was “movie star” handsome. I see him smile and hear him laugh, and cherish it. He will not be forgotten.
