BURKE - John F., age 81, on July 16, 2008 of San Diego, CA, formerly of Deer Park, NY. Retired member of the Deer Park Fire Department. Devoted husband of the late Florence. Beloved father of John William Burke, Kathleen Margaret Helfst and Patricia M.Bratchie. Cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of one. Family to receive friends Sunday 7-9:30pm and Monday 2-5 and 7-9:30pm at Mangano Funeral Home, Inc. 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:15am at SS Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church.Interment at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Deer Park Fire Department in John's memory.
