To the family of Mike Gunning:
My deepest condolences. I had the good fortune of sharing four years with Mike at Mt. St. Mary's College. A nicer, classier person never set foot on that campus. We will miss him.

Our dad, Michael Gunning, was perhaps the loveliest man most of us have known or will ever know. He loved his family, his friends, his country, and his church. He never put himself first, and he dedicated his life to the golden rule. He was not a simple man, but cherished the simple things in life. We are all better for having known and loved him. We miss you, Dad.
Love, Nancy, Michael, Tim, & Kevin Gunning

Denise, Nancy, Michael, Timmy, Kevin and family. We are so sorry to hear of Mike's loss. I can't think of any Capitol Ave. childhood memory that doesn't include Mike, my dad and their many, many stoop parties. He was a wonderful person, who will be greatly missed by all he knew. Our love and prayers are with all of you in this very difficult time.
Love always,
Kim, John, Sean, Paige, Hunter, & Devin Matthews
