CODY - George H. Jr., of Carle Place at the age of 75 on August 26, 2008 due to West Nile Virus. Beloved husband of Barbara. Devoted father of Rick, Kathilee Omage, the late Daniel and Patrick. Cherished father-in-law of John Omage and Christine. Loving grandfather of Olivia, Cody, Victoria, Payton, Jake, Patrick and Bailee. Dear brother of Kenneth. Best Pal of Ed DeRidder. Master plumber, owner and founder of G.H. Cody, Inc., Plumbing and Heating, Carle Place for 48 years, Proud Navy Seabee-Korean War and avid history buff and fisherman. Visiting Thursday and Friday, 2-5 and 7-9pm, Cassidy Funeral Home, 156 Willis Ave., Mineola. Prayer Service Friday 8pm, Funeral Saturday 10am at funeral home. Interment Plainlawn Cemetery. Memorials: Daniel W. Cody Scholarship Fund, c/o Carle Place High School appreciated.
