Thomas Lyttle Obituary

LYTTLE - Thomas J., age 75, of Mendham, NJ passed on October 20, 2008 surrounded by his family. Mr. Lyttle is survived by Marie (McAuliffe), his beloved wife of 52 years; his loving children, Irene Cunningham, Deborah Lyttle, and Elizabeth Jones; his cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Jonah, Martin, and Maya; two brothers, Father Eugene and Kenneth; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lyttle was a veteran of the Korean War, and served as Second Lieutenant in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Mr. Lyttle was a Marketing Director at AT&T before retiring. He had an extensive background in community theater, film, television, and radio performance. Tom was a generous, spirited, brilliant man who thoroughly enjoyed entertaining people with a joke, story or quip. He will be dearly missed. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 (973) 543-4720. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 27, 2008 from 9:00-10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday at the Church of St. Joseph (R.C.), West Main Street, Mendham, NJ 07945.

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Tom. I met and worked with him as a young woman at the Chester Theatre Group.
