MARTIN - Margaret Mary (nee Waters), 81, of Mooresville, N.C., formerly of Elmont, N.Y., on September 28, 2007. Beloved wife of the late George J. Martin. Devoted mother of Catherine "Cathy" Bure and her husband, George. Adored grandmother of Kristin and Kathleen Bure. Dear sister of Jack Waters and the late Michael Waters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, October 2, 2007, 11 AM, at St. Therese R.C. Church, Mooresville, N.C. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, N.C., 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, N.C. 28625, would be deeply appreciated. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home (704-664-3363) of Mooresville, N.C., is serving the Martin Family.

peggy was my favorite resident at summit place... i was one of her caregivers... i loved her alot! she was so full of life! i'll never forget her! we'd have so much fun laughing and singing in the dining room together! believe it or not! she even danced with me! we had a blast, peggy and i! til we meet again peg a leg! like i told you before! when its my turn! you better be up there waiting on me for one last dance.. and next time! you'll be up on your feet dancing! i love ya girl! i still miss you so much and i still cant stop thinking about you! i'll never forget you peg! "ill see ya later baby!"

We loved Sunday dinners in Elmont with Aunt Peggy and Uncle George -- we all have such great memories of her laugh, tears streaming down her face as she told us stories about Dad and Uncle Jack. She was so good to us and so generous. Wish we could be there with you, George and the girls.
