I always know when this time of the year is coming. But this morning the Legacy reminder was on my phone. Waving like a big red flag. and I was getting ready to write something sad and maudlin. But Samantha called and my finger hovered over the answer icon. Do I want to talk to her right now or do I want to fall into this deep hole of missing you and crying? But I answered Sam´s call and we talked and before long we were laughing and joking around and I wasn´t sad anymore. I was even helping her with algebra (what?). I still miss you and think of you everyday. I hold a space for you always. And what you did for me today, was way better than anything Peter Griffen could have done.

I recently learned of your passing through an acquaintance at work, and I was floored... you will be missed my friend.. you were always so friendly and so outgoing. You were a blessing to your friends, you never had an unkind word to say.. I truly regret not growing closer with you while you were here on earth with us.... Charlie, I remember, 5-years ago ... We celebrated my 21st Birthday and we hung out and played pool. What memories... I thank you for bein there as I was there for you. Will see you one day soon. :)

I only had the opportunity to work with Charly a few times, but every time I enjoyed it. In my experience, he was a bright spirited guy with much integrity. I know he will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his surviving family and friends during this difficult time.

Dear Chip and Elizabeth, we never knew your son, but from what I have read here, he must have been an amazing man. There is so little that one can say to you to ease your pain. Charlie, I cannot believe you are gone. It is just too heart-breaking. He was such a funny and kind soul and it was a pleasure knowing him through high school, the BYPP, and hanging out with our friends. You are missed.

Charlie, I remember the fist day i met you, how much you made me laugh and smile. How shy you would get if i complimented you. And I will never forget our time together on New Years. You were so special to me and everyone who knew you. He always told me how important his family was to him.
