To say we all miss you is an understatement, we more then miss you. Over the years you have been joined by other family members, & I am sure you are all sitting around laughing at us , playing cards, & of course eating.
So many milestones have been achieved but somehow I know you are aware of everything. I just want you to be aware you live on in each & everyone of us.
We love & miss you Andy .

Once again I sit here with a heavy heart! It happens every year around this time, but the more I think about you the lighter my heart becomes! I remember all the good times, the laughs, & with you there were plenty of laughs!
Oh how proud you must be as you watch your children! Well ok so Kathy is a cop ( lol) deep down u are proud. And little AJ omg he is just adorable! You would have spoiled him rotten, don't worry there are a lot of us around that do a good job of that! Being back with the family makes me feel your presence even more & I can't tell you how good it feels! We ALL love & miss you till the next race Andy!

It's that time again, so much in life has changed & so many more have passed. I'm sure you were there to greet Carmen, hey don't stir up to much trouble you two (lol) .
Believe it or not I am right back where I belong, next to Linda of course, & driving the rest of the clan nuts!
The girls are my saving grace, I'm sure you are so very proud of them both. And Albie , you won't believe it but he dances big smile!
I am where I belong! The rooster has come back to nest, (or whatever).
I know you watch over all of us & laugh , but I gotta tell you, you got some beautiful grandchildren.
Yes you are missed, thought of & loved very much!
Till the next race Andy, you remain in our hearts!

Once again I sit here typing my thoughts! You must know how much you are missed & thought of by now. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you for some reason, a horse race, seeing an OTB, football season, & of course every time I see a rooster! My mind is full of memories of the good time we all had together as a family.
Everybody has moved every which way, I miss the girls so much, ah but this is something you already know! You have been joined by other family members & I see you all playing cards smoking cigars & still trying to big the winner in each race!
You are missed, thought of often, & live on in our hearts!
Till the next race Andy,

It's almost that time again. I am sure people wonder why I come back here year after year. Well it's simple, I will never forget all the good times, & some not so good times, that only Andy made into the best memories that I will always cherish.
The vacations, the bar b q's, the food, the race track, the list is endless.
I come here year after year to let Andy know, I miss & love him very much, & our family has never been the same without him.
But he lives on in our hearts, never to be forgotten.
Till the next race Andy..

I love the Arata family as my own. Mr. and Mrs. Arata was like second parents. I know that God will continue to bless this family, in their time of sadness. Mr.Arata was a great man and father. I thank God that in my young years I was able to witness under him so that could know what a real man was. Mrs. Arata, Mel, Kathy I love you guys and pray for you all the time. God bless.

I write this in memory of one of the sweetest and kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, Mr. Andrew Arata Jr.,. It seems like just yesterday Melanie and I were driving you crazy! LOL. You showed me the example of what a great father and husband is supposed to be like, and I am blessed to have found a man who reminds me so much of you. I feel blessed to have known you. You are missed dearly.

Here I sit almost 3 years later, & not one day goes by that at some point I dont think of Andy. Someone say's something, something gets done and my mind wanders to those days.
The days when food was burnt, laughs were many, the house was full, kids everywhere, and a good time was had by all.
I remember picking up the phone calling Andy for a ride, to anywhere. He moaned & groaned all the way, but somewhere deep down, you got the feeling that he enjoyed doing it. Well maybe not enjoyed, but he never said NO.
The family get togethers were a blast. Andy was the life of every party. He had a way of saying things to people that nobody else would even think of saying.
I remember when Duke bit me, im sitting in the kitchen, blood running down my leg, tears running down my face, & Linda says Andrew come here, he looks at me, and says, does it hurt? Linda & I laughed so hard, that no it did not hurt anymore. I have to wonder if somewhere he knew that would make my pain go away?
That was Andy, do anything for anybody, and then tell you where to go!
Andrew is not a person to be forgotten. He was larger then life itself.
Everyone misses him, but I know in my heart he lives on. One person can not touch so many lives & leave such a impact & then just be forgotten.
Andy, was a hero to me, I looked up to him. Why? Because that is just the way it is! I can not explain it, I am sure there are others out there that feel the same.
Today I honer Andrew Arata Jr and everything he stood for, OTB, The Race Track, Food, & most of all, THE FAMILY!
Till the next race Andy!
Love you always, the daughter you didnt know you had & really didnt want, but kept me around anyway, The Rooster!

Well here we are almost at the first anniversery. I have to admit this year has flown by and it certainly has been a very lonely year without you Andy.
Although, with everything I do, and everytime the family gathers I as well as other's know you are with us. We think of what you would have thought, or should I say said, cause we all know you were not one for holding back. Just one of your many traits that made us all love you so much.
Your family & your friends miss you very very much. Speaking for many I am sure, our lives were much more richer having Andy in it!

Andy was nothing short of a great guy. We had the chance to work together many times and I really enjoyed all of them, despite the hard work we were doing. His attitude was always upbeat and he sure knew how to make everyone laugh. His outlook and his sense of humor were the cornerstones of his life.
Linda, I know this has been difficult to you, as his illness must have been hard to watch him go through. Please accept my condolences. Andy will be surely missed. He was truly a pleasure to know and a pleasure to work with. I can't remember a day where he was mad or cursed. It mad a difficult job so much easier to deal with.
