To Jim and Family
Sorry to hear about your mother. I only meet her a few time when Mr Hunter (Bing) would let some of us from the shop hunt behind the house in williamstown. Both Mr and Mrs Hunter were alway good to all the employees of Hunter Machine. I was a field service tech and my first road job was with Jim in Nashvill Tn. and he would tell stories about his mother and his grand father that i still remember today and he always spoke very highly of her.
She will be miss

The Gasperetti Family

October 6, 2008

To the Family of Irene Hunter:
Our daughter, Emily, was one of the many, many recipients of Irene’s bountiful generosity. Irene sponsored Emily at Maple Street School where Emily took on a spirit much like Irene’s… determined and headstrong. Emily then continued her education at Irene’s alma mater, Emma Willard, where she was once again blessed with Irene’s benevolence as a EWS Scholar for all four years. We are forever indebted to this remarkable, generous woman. She has made the dreams of so many individuals and organizations come true. What a shining star. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear Elizabeth, Bonnie, Susan, Jim,
and family,

I was so sorry to learn of Irene's passing.

Having known her for over 25 years I know what a truly extraordinary woman she was.

From the first time we met at Jacob's Pillow, before we both became members of the Taylor family, and over the ensuing years I have felt most fortunate to know her.

Along the way she taught me some very, very important lessons and was always there for Paul, the Company, and for me.

I know I will never forget her and will continue to think of her (and Bing) often.

Sincerely yours,
Ross

To the family of Irene,

She was a great woman who cared so much for others. I remember when my dad worked for her on the estate in Willilamstown. We had so much fun there and the Christmas parties were the best. I remember each and everyone of the grandchildren that were there... Your Grandmother loved you so much. I would always ask how you all were when I saw her. Irene was just a great person all around. May god watch over you all in your time of grief and know she is now in a better place. If there is anything please let me know.
