Hey Shannon,

I miss you lots. How're things? You were so beautiful in your prom dress. Shame you never got to wear it with us. But you were with us weren't you? And you always will be. I will always remember our memories during soccer, track, homebase, and classes. You really are an amazing friend. I absolutely adore you. Have a great time up there. I'll see you soon. (:

Mr. James, Mrs. James, and Billy;

Hi. I'm planning on making you guys my "famous" chocolate chip cookies. Shannon loved them. I once made her a whole batch for christmas. I also wrote her a song and I plan on putting it on a cd for you. I hope you like it. (:

Wishing you all the best.

Shannon was my best friend when she lived in my neighborhood in Harrisonburg, VA. The memories I have of Shannon are so vivid to me and it really feels like yesterday that she moved away. I will never forget riding bikes, finding catterpillars and eating manderine oranges with her. The James family was like a second family to me. I have never forgot about shannon and often thought about her and have talked about her throughout the years. I will hold her and the times we shared dear to me always. The day she moved I ran home crying to my mother. She held me close and said "Don't worry Claire, you will see her again, I promise". I know I'll see Shannon again in Heaven one day, and I hope to rides bikes with her=].
You have been in my prayers.

Love, Claire

To Shannon's family

May God Bless you during this tough time. You may not remember me but I was hygienist that provided care to Shannon in Burlington. She was a warm and beautiful person both inside and out. It has been an honor to witness her growth from girl to young woman. I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
