Dear Martin and Calahan Families:
I went to law school with Kelly and remember riding the metro with her to our law clerk jobs at Legal Services Corp. in Washington. All these years later, when I think about the young woman I knew then, I remember her big smile and positive outlook and energy. Time flew by as we laughed and chatted on that train.
I was so saddened to read about her death in my alumni magazine. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of Kelly.

I met Kelly when we were seniors in high school when she was a life guard at Hungry Mother State Park. She was full of life and laughed a lot. She was a joy to be around. I talked with her some during our college years and the last time I saw her was at a wedding where we were brides maids together. She was a wonderful person throughout her life. I am so sadden for this tremendous loss to her children, husband, parents, siblings and many, many friends.
My prayers are with you.
