James Torres Obituary
TORRES, JAMES 43, - of Buena, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, August 25, 2008. Born in New York City to the late Juan L. Torres and Ana Maria Pacheco. He was a longtime area resident. He was on the football team for Buena Regional High School, graduating in 1983. James was a coach for Ricky's Garage Little League team and the South Jersey Seminoles Baseball team. He worked as a grinder for Wilmad Glass for 20 years. James enjoyed hockey and racquetball. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son-in-law, uncle and a good friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Aida Torres, two sons, Juan Gabriel Torres and Matthew James Torres, daughter, Kiara Angelica Torres all of Buena, three brothers, Robert Torres of Landisville, Peter Torres of Irvington, Hector Torres of Milmay, two sisters Anna Rivera of Richland, and Sandra Torres-Gonzalez of Newtonville, father-in-law, Carlos Juan Figueroa and mother-in-law, Aida Vazquez both of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two brothers Jose Torres and Luis Torres. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00pm and Friday, August 29, 2008 from 10 to 11 am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Seldom do we meet a man so honorable as Jimmy. He made you a better person just by sharing a conversation with him. You will always have a special place in Nick's heart Coach Jimmy.
