Marion Ruth Davis-Babcock, 79, of Newburgh, NY, a lifetime resident of the area, died June 22, 2008 in Newburgh, NY.

The daughter of the late James Davis and Gladys Eliza Kniffen, she was born September 27, 1928 in Newburgh, NY.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Babcock; two sisters, Shirley Heating and June Siggelkow, both of Highland, NY; six sons: Robert Bilyou of Newburgh, Mark, Dennis Bilyou of New Windsor, Joseph Bilyou of Highland Eugene Bilyou of Los Angeles, CA and Roger Bilyou of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by daughters, Elaine Bilyou and Patricia Sucato and son, Jerry Bilyou.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 28 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Brutus W. Hodge Funeral Home, 13 Chambers St., Newburgh, NY 12550.

Services will be held Saturday, June 28 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Coleman Briggs officiating. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory.

Arrangements were made by Brutus W. Hodge Funeral Home; 845-561-4322.
