Mary Stanley Obituary

Chester, NY

Mary J. Stanley, 103, of Imperial Park, Chester, NY, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in the Orange County Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown, NY.

She was born April 16, 1905, the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Mary (Barry) Brannigan. She was married to the late John F. Stanley.

She was a Secretary for the Delaval Corporation, Poughkeepsie, NY.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Iris P. Stanley of Chester, NY; grandchildren: John and Claudence Stanley of Brazil, Michael and Eva Stanley of Chester, NY, and Virginia and Frank Dodd of Middletown, NY; two great-grandchildren, and cousin, Juliet Kruzinski of Marlboro, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, John Brannigan.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning, July 19, from 9-10:30 a.m. at The DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Marlboro, with Father Edward Bader officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to the Orange County Regional Medical Center, "Horton Memorial Hospital", Middletown, NY.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carl J. DiDonato, Jr. and Lawrence M. Cavazza of The DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc.; 845-236-4300.
