Aurea Caban Obituary
Aurea Caban of Ellenville, a lifelong resident and a former 20-year employee of Channel Masters, Ellenville, died July 17, 2008 at Ellis Hospital, Schnectady. She was 71.
She was born September 22, 1936 in Puerto Rico.
She was the widow of Gregorio Caban.
She was a member of The Church of St. Mary & St. Andrew, Ellenville.
Survivors include her son, Milton R. Caban of Ellenville; her daughter, Aurea Alvarez and husband, Robert of Schnectady; three grandchildren, Xavier Caban of Ellenville, Sierra-Rose Caban of Beacon and Kristena L. Estela of Schnectady; three brothers, Ramon Aviles of Kerhonkson, Baltazar Sanchez of Puerto Rico and Jose Antonio Sanchez of Puerto Rico and 22 nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., 79 N. Main St., Ellenville on Monday, July 21 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of St. Mary & St. Andrew, Ellenville.
Burial will be in Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions on behalf of the Caban family, may be sent to Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 226, Ellenville, NY 12428.

Tia Aurea, I will miss you soo much. Thanks for loving me soo much. You were truly un gran amor. Sorry you had to leave us but happy that you will no longer suffer. I will miss you soo much, with love, la hija de Gene Rivera aka Luz elenia's grand daughter Virginia Rivera. I love you, my heart goes out to my family. We will all miss you Tia! RIP
