Jeanne LaMantagne Obituary

Pompano Beach, FL

Jeanne B. LaMantagne, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of North Salem, NY and Danbury, CT, entered into rest on Thursday, October 2, 2008 in North Broward Medical Center. She was 84.

Daughter of the late George and May Fraties Geiger, she was born March 4, 1924 in Jamaica, NY.

She is survived by her loving sons: Charles E. Lane, Jr. and his wife, Joan of Newburgh, Michael Lane and his wife, Nancy of Newburgh, and Clifford Lane and his wife, Fay of Glens Falls, NY; grandchildren: Laura Lane and her husband, Patrick of Bellmore, NY, Melissa Sinapi and her husband, Luigi of East Fishkill, NY, John Lane of Bayside, NY, Tracy Landolfi and her husband, Paul of Ansonia, CT, and Angela Wagner of Washington State; great-grandchildren: Peter, Luigi, Adriana and Vanessa Sinapi, Austin, Luke and Felicity Wagner; sister-in-law, Josephine Geiger of Littleneck, NY; her former husband, Charles E. Lane, Sr. of Pompano Beach, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert LaMontagne and brother, Robert Geiger.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 in Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in Blooming Grove Rural Cemetery.
