Darnell Robinson Obituary
On Tuesday morning, October 14, 2008, our beloved, Darnell Maurice Robinson of the Bronx, took his journey home. Throughout his trials and tribulations of life, he never lost sight of his spiritual side by serving our Lord occasionally alongside his beloved late grandfather Jephthah "Buster" Daniel and late great-aunt Mary "Mamie" Daniel at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Darnell, the son of Beverly Cassandra (Daniel) Robinson of Atlanta, GA and the late Lossie C. Robinson of Kingston, NY, was born on September 5, 1964 in Newburgh, NY. Darnell was raised in the Newburgh City Schools and later on ventured out into various fields of work until he was stricken by illness. His big warm heart was full of love for his family and friends.
He has left behind his brother, Daleth Lamot (Monique) of Laurel, MD; sister, Khadijah Lamot of Atlanta, GA; sister, Latisha Robinson of Queens, NY; uncle, James "Jimmy" Robinson (Alice) of New Windsor, NY; uncle, John Finklea of Silver Springs, MD; aunt, Audrey Carey-Wright (John) of Oxford, GA; uncle, Raymond "Dougie" Daniel of Oceanside, CA; aunt, Olymphia "Minute" Green (Rev. John of Manassas, VA; uncle, Charles Daniel (Janet) of Newburgh, NY, and numerous cousins, nieces nephews and many friends.
Many lives have been touched by Darnell. We hope and pray that everyone finds peace and joy in the fond memories shared with him and knowing our loved one is no longer suffering.
Although his life resumè doesn't contain numerous achievements and titles, his life exemplified these words: "A man that kept it real with whom ever he encountered."
It was a long difficult journey, but now he has made it over. We will meet again, until then my loved one, may you rest in peace.
Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, at Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Darnell.Im an old friend of charlies. I had the pleasure to know the Daniel Family for most of my life
I know Darnell is at peace and is now with the two people that ment the most to him in this world, Buster and Mrs. Daniel.
Rest in peace Darnell.
May God Bless the Robinson/Daniel/Carey Family at this time.
