Vivian Stypulkowski Obituary

Kerhonkson - Vivian C. Stypulkowski, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 81 years old.

Vivian was born on July 10, 1926 in Brooklyn. She was the daughter of the late William and Susan (Krivy) Dittmar. Vivian had moved to Kerhonkson in 1996 from Brooklyn where she worked as a Postal Clerk for many years. She loved to draw and crochet and in her younger years, she had enjoyed ballroom dancing. Vivian always had a love for animals and she liked to collect elephants. Vivian was married to Theodore Stypulkowski of Maspeth, N.Y. He predeceased her in January 1985.

She is survived by her children: Debra Sue Bayetis and her husband, Angelo of Kerhonkson, Alan J. Zaffiri of Melbourne, Fla., and Anthony C. Zuccaro of Binghamton, N.Y.; brother, Douglas Dittmar of Kerhonkson; sister, Emily Hagner of Charleston, S.C. She has six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her daughter, Diana Zaffiri, and her brothers, Charles and Warren Dittmar and her sister, Susan Ryan predeceased Vivian.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY 12446. A Celebration of her life will be on Wednesday the 17th at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home Entombment will follow at Pine Lawn
