Dear Diane & Family,
Words can't express how sorry I am that you lost a loving husband and father. You will be in my thoughts and prayers always.
Don-For 30 years, a lifetime, you were a more than an A&P co-worker. To so many, you were a role model, mentor, friend. As for me, you were the older brother I never had, I will miss you.
"Goodbye to you my trusted friend....
....You tried to teach me right from wrong, wonder how I'll get along...."

Menck Family
I worked with Don in Park Ridge. When I took my breaks. He'd be outside smoking and talking to whoever was on break with him. Don will be missed by family and friends.

Diane and Family,
My favorite memory of Don was in his Elvis days . It was of course during an A&P Christmas party. He come out lip syncing to an Elvis song and had the whole place in stiches. I still have that image of Don ,mutton chop side burns, white jacket and twisting his hips doing his thing.
His devotion to his family was endless ... always making sure they were happy and cared for. I recall discussing the many project he worked on in the house to make everyone more comfortable.
His favorite saying was . "If Momma is happy then everyone is happy."
I have known and worked with Don the last 32 years. It was a honor to know and work with such a fine man as Don. May God bless and keep all of you .
