To the Lenko Family,

I send my sincere condolences for your loss. As a neighbor, employee, and friend of George, he was always a good man, full of his own unique insight and sought enjoyment in life's subtle goings--including as a quiet observer of the comings and goings of Haight Drive over the past few years. I feel blessed that he was able to share so many of his stories and life experiences with me as I was growing up, as well as his strong interest in my ongoing education throughout my life.

He taught me the value of hard work, commitment, and taking time to enjoy the flowers: I am sad with his passing, but his lessons will always live on in my work and life. I will deeply miss George, but I know he is in a better place, free from disease and worries. I unfortunately could not get back for his services, but I send my humble regards and will keep all of George's family in my warmest thoughts, as he would have wanted.
