Frank Soricelli Obituary

New Windsor - Frank Soricelli, entered into rest on November 29, 2007 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. He was 90 years old.

Son of the late Giuseppe and Serafina Soricelli, he was born January 24, 1917 in Naples, Italy. He was married to Dorothy Soricelli, who predeceased him on November 23, 2007.

He is survived by his loving children; Dennis Soricelli and his wife, Pat, and Frank Soricelli and his wife, Linda, all of New Windsor; brother, Dominick Soricelli of the Bronx; grandchildren, Joseph Soricelli of New Hampshire, Debra Venturo of Cranford, N.J., Laura Canausa, Anthony Soricelli and Dorothy Torpey - all of New Windsor; great-grandchildren, Martin and Maria Venturo of Cranford, N.J., Nicole and Daniella Canausa of New Windsor. His son Joseph Soricelli predeceased him. His brother, Andrew Alonge, predeceased him.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 2 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh, NY 12550.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 3 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 17th Floor, 386 Park Ave. South, New York, NY 10016.
