Dear Peggy,
I want to send you my personal best wishes and condolences on the loss of your Dad. It was interesting to read about his long distinguished military service and I see where his daughter gets her leadership skills!
I hope your family will weather this loss with a sense of thankfulness at the long and useful life your father lived...as much as any of us can hope for.
Much love and warm wishes,
Cathie Sullivan

Memorial Day 2008

Dear Elaine, Peggy and Molly,

My heart goes out to you in sympathy at this time.

I always thought you were lucky gals to have such a handsome, intelligent good man love each of you as he did.

It was my good fortune to spend time with you all in those idyllic days on the Brazos in the eighties (as a friend of Peggy's and the Baird family).

My injured leg will prevent my travelling to Santa Fe for the memorial service, but I hope to see you again at the Brazos this summer.

May you find comfort in the many years of good memories and with each other.

With fondest regards,

Suzanne Sievers
