Mary V. Torrey LEESBURG, Fla. Mary V. Torrey, 71, of Leesburg since 2003, died Oct. 1, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Native of Plymouth, Mass., and formerly of Brockton, Mass., Mary ran a homemaker service called Handy Home Aides. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, camping and loved her grandchildren. Mary was the beloved mother of Paul Sylvia (and his wife Debra) of Rockland, Mass., Wayne Sylvia (and his wife Jane) of Hanson, Mass., Joseph Sharp (and his wife Wanda) of New York, Carole Miceli (and her husband James) of Brockton and Donna Sharp (and her companion William Alger) of Brockton; grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of six; former wife of William Sharp; widow of Alton Torrey; and loving companion of Robert Sargent; sister of Nancy Peccini of New Jersey and the late Jeanette Twofoot and Barbara McGovern; and aunt of many.
