Elizabeth Saba Obituary

Elizabeth A. Saba BROCKTON Elizabeth Ann Saba, 29, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Wednesday evening, Oct. 8, 2008, in Canton. Born Aug. 24, 1979, in Brockton, she was a beloved daughter of Michael K. Saba and Irene (Saraiva) Saba of Brockton and Georgia. Raised in Brockton, she attended Sacred Heart Elementary School, in Brockton, and the graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1997. Elizabeth worked at Nantucket Golf Club, Childrens Hospital Blood Donor Center and most recently at Newton- Wellesley Hospital. Liz was loved by many and touched many lives with her care and love that she provided to others. Liz was involved with Saint Margarets Children Theatre. She enjoyed spending summers on Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket and spending time in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Provincetown with her beloved brother Mike and dear friend Matt. She enjoyed trips to Disneyworld with her parents. At the time of her death, she resided in Brockton with her beloved sister, Tina, and nephew, Trevor. She is survived by her loving parents, Michael K. Saba and Irene (Saraiva) Saba; her loving sister and brother, Tina M. Saba and Michael K. Saba Jr.; her grandmother, Antonia Saraiva; her nephew, Trevor Joseph Cummings. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Monday at 9 a.m. thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10 a.m. Private cremation will follow.
