Rosemary Mills-Muggeo Obituary

FREETOWN Rosemary "Rose" (DeSimone) Mills-Muggeo, 61, of Assonet, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River. She was the wife of Anthony Muggeo, to whom she had been married to for 16 years. Born in Winthrop, a daughter of the late Fred DeSimone and Mary (Campanella) Lavoie, she was a graduate of Girls High School, Roxbury, Class of 1964. She was employed at Northrop-Grumman in Norwood, as an associate accountant, for several years, retiring in 1997. Mrs. Mills-Muggeo enjoyed the theater and trips to Disney World. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Michael F. Mills and his companion Cheryl Benevides of Fall River, David G. Mills and his wife Melissa of Swansea; two stepsons, Anthony Muggeo and his wife Lynn of Birmingham, Ala., Chad Muggeo and his wife Jamie of Uxbridge; one stepdaughter, Rene Spence of Stoughton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Patricia Bennett. Funeral, Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at 9 a.m. from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St. (at Locust, Cherry and High streets), Fall River, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Lighted parking area adjacent to sheltered barrier, free entrance. Relatives and friends invited.
