Bernadette Delaney

Quincy Mrs Bernadette M. (Pelletier) Delaney of Quincy, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 81. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Georges and Alvenia (Patenaude) Pelletier, Bernadette lived in Waltham for many years and had lived in Quincy for the past thirty years. Bernadette was a Telephone Operator for many years for Verizon Telephone Company. Bernadette was a member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club in Dorchester. Bernadette was the sister of the late Rev. Gerard Pelletier, Paul Pelletier, Henri Pelletier and grandmother of the late Sarah Delaney Ethier. Bernadette leaves one son, Michael F. Delaney and his wife Joan of Quincy, one daughter Margaret A. Delaney of Pembroke, two sisters Therese Aucoin of Waltham, Cecile MacCauley of Boca Raton, Florida, three grandchildren, Christopher Delaney, David Delaney, Joshua Ethier, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham Burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
