Frank C. Silveira

SCITUATE Frank C. Silveira, of Scituate on October 19, 2008, age 74. Devoted husband of Mary (Mirabella). Frank was born in Boston and grew up in Somerville. A 1952 graduate of Somerville High School. Frank joined the Marines in 1953 serving during the Korean Conflict until 1956, he received the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Frank graduated Bentley College in 1962, receiving a degree in accounting. Frank and his family moved to Scituate in 1962, where he was a resident for 44 years. He worked as an accountant for several local companies. Frank was a 1981 Massachusetts Skeet Shooting Association State Champion. Loving father of Frank S. and his wife Kelly of Wilmington, Donna of Fitchburg, John A. and his wife Beth of Willow Spring, NC. Brother of Stephen L. and his wife Nancy of PA. Son of the late Frank V. and Marguerite (Calderoni). Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
