Phyllis Loring Obituary

Phyllis Brownell Loring Yarmouthport Phyllis Brownell Loring, 84, of Yarmouthport and Kingston, died on November 11, 2007 at the Wingate Skilled Nursing Center at Silver Lake. She was a graduate of Kingston High School and Framingham State College. She had taught at Medfield High School, the Girls Club of Jamestown, NY and retired in 1981 from the Home Economics Dept. of Marshfield High School after 27 years of service. At one time she was a member of the Parish Committee of the First Parish Church in Kingston. She was a member of the Framingham Alumni Association and had traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. She enjoyed spending time at her home on Cape Cod. She is survived by her sister, Helen Loring Smith of Kingston, three brothers, Fred W. Loring of Kingston, Porter W. Loring of Plymouth, Robert C. Loring of FL, her longtime companion Earl Cavicchi of Yarmouthport and CA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston, on Monday November 19, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
