Roger Crippen Obituary

CRIPPEN, Roger L., Sr.
59, of Sabinsville, PA, died Saturday, July 5, 2008. Born July 3, 1949, in Blossburg, he was the son of Louis W. "Luke" and Arvilla M. Seeley Crippen. He was a farmer and logger. Surviving are: three daughters, Sue (Terry) Dibble of Lebanon, PA, Ruthanne Crippen and Renee Crippen, both of Ulysses; a son, Roger Crippen, Jr. of Ulysses; four grandchildren, Tricia Dibble, Traci Dibble, Andrew Wenrich, and Harlie Wenrich; five brothers, Melvin (Sally) Crippen of Sabinsville, Rial (Pearl) Crippen of Westfield, Howard (Barbara) Crippen of Ulysses, Paul (Peggy) Crippen of Westfield, and Mike (Lil) Crippen of Sabinsville; three sisters, Christine (Albert) Mitchell of Waterloo, NY, Lulu (Raymond) Myrick of Geneva, NY, and Elsie Young of Sabinsville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gordon. Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, on Wednesday, July 9th, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., with Funeral Services at 6:00 p.m. The Rev. David Brelo will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook, PA. Memorials may be made to the Patterson Cancer Center, c/o Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA 16915.
