Mary Passmore Obituary
Mary Agnes
81, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Williamsport Hospital. Born Mary Agnes Tingley on November 8, 1926, the daughter of Mark and DeSales Tingley of Blossburg. On November 26, 1948, she married Alfred A. Passmore, who predeceased her in 1981. She was a graduate of Blossburg High School. Mary then received her nurses training at Temple University and worked for many years as a nurse at the former Blossburg State Hospital. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Bombaski of Williamsport, PA; four children, two sons, Mark Passmore of Pleasant Gap, PA, Mike E. Passmore of Somers Point, NJ; and two daughters, Mary "Susie" Herbert of Washington, DC, Katherine Mahosky of Flagstaff, AZ; and she is also survived by nine grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Freeberg Funeral Home in Blossburg, PA, on Thursday, July 31st, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. immediately followed by a graveside service at Arbon Cemetery.

I am so happy I had the chance to meet Mary years ago when I started tracing my family, it was a pleasant meeting.
my grandmother was Edith Passmore Diehr Schanbacher, Alfred sr.was her brother. my sincere condolences.
