I ran my first 10K with Ellen by my side. I had just met her on the race course that day. It was the only 10K on what is now the Sane Lane running into Downtown Mpls. Ellen helped keep me going and finish the race. My condolences to the family.

Craig- I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother, and wanted to let you know we're all thinking of you and your family during this time. Please let me or anyone else know if there is anything we can do to help- you and your family are and will remain in all of our thoughts and prayers.

Craig & Brody-I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother/grandmother. From what I've read about her, she had a real vibrant spirit that will continue to live on in both of you. My heartfelt condolences.

I was sadden to hear about the passing of Ellen. I knew her as part of the elite running community who inspired those of us several years her junior. She will be missed. My thoughts go out to Frank and the rest of the family upon their loss.

My condolences on Aunt Ellen's passing. Glad I got to see her at the reunion last year. Unfortunately, won't be able to attend the funeral.
I was surprised to find this web page through a link with a blog about running. I hadn't realized how prominent she was in the world of Minnesota marathons.

My deepest sympathy to all the McCoys on the loss of Ellen. As a child I remember her and all of you.
I pray the comfort of the Holy Spirit as you all go through the grieving process. We all grieve differently, but we must grieve.
God Bless you in Jesus'Name!
