A Message Home
I was welcomed home today
my uncle Wayne took my hand ,
I asked how do you know me and a smile came to his face .
his smile was warm like sunshine and this is what he said , I got a message from your dad ,it was sent to me with love , please let dustin know we miss him and wish we could hold him tight but he's with you now brother so we know he will be alright !

To Dana Mike & Family & Gina & Ted Trimmer....I am so sorry for your loss and just to know that God has again one of his Precious children Home w/ him is so much comfort. Mike,Dana and Codey. I am so sorry for your lose. Wene my son Bernard came home and told me I was in shock. I couldnt beleive it. I had the pleasure to know Dustin. I had the pleasure to see him smile, and hear him laugh. Oh dear sweet Dustin, you woul have never guess the number of people wholoved you unconditionally.
i have with me in my head a list of memories of you. a memory such as waking up late in the summer and having our marshmallow fights. :] The way you looked at Casey was something I have never seen before. You weren't just lucky to love her, she was lucky that you did. we used to tease on how you would be my Uncle Dustin. But really, you already were.

My heart ached when I heard the news of Dustin' s passing - there is no way that we can't understand what you are feeling at this time nor are there words we can say to make the pain go away.

Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and family, We were first introduced to Dustin thru or daughter Victoria and Casey Strickland. We always found him such a joy to speak with as he was perhaps the most polite young man we have ever met. We are still in shock at what we learned Sunday morning. Dustin was a wonderful young man and was like a son to us. He has been part of our lives for almost two years and his relationship with our daughter, Casey, brought us alot of joy. He was very, very kind- hearted, generous, and loving.
He loved to have fun and liked to laugh and have a good time.
Our condolences to his parents and family - may God bless you and help ease the pain and sorrow you are feeling. The hurt in everyone's heart is tremendous right now and may it be erased with time and good memories. He was our favorite and we will always miss him. Last week we were together again every day which is very special to us.
