BUCHER, Quentin C., 85, departed this life at his home in Richmond on August 12, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna Olin Bucher; his daughter, Allyson Ann Vinik and her husband, Allan Vinik; two granddaughters, Courtney Ann Vinik and Abbey Danielle Vinik. A memorial service in celebration of Quentin's life will be held at Skipwith United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Skipwith United Methodist Church, 2211 Skipwith Rd. (P.O. Box 32104), Richmond, Va. 23294, or to Bon Secours Hospice, 8580 Magellan Pkwy., Bldg. IV, Richmond, Va. 23227.

Grandma Bucher,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I wish I could have made it for the memorial service. I am honored to have had the chance to know Quentin. He treated me like a grandson and I will miss him.
