I met Karen about five years ago at the Cancer Suvivor Camp. She was so full of joy and laughter. I will miss her smile and her memory will always bring a laugh to my spirit. She was the definition of friendship and survivorship.

Karen and I became friends when we were children, and my dad was the Pastor of Tabernacle. Our paths have crossed many times since those days. Each crossing was a joy. It was especially exciting when we met up at church, and Karen was singing. Her smile just radiated the room. It was only on Thursday that I learned of her home going, and because of previous commitments, I was unable to share her wake or home going celebration with you. And celebrating, I know Karen is doing, for, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and, remember that God is too wise, to make a mistake, too just, to be unjust, and too loving to leave you alone in your time of sorrow.
Lean on him, trust him, and thank him for the time that he shared Karen with us.

To The Family of Karen Bagley: My heart was sadden to hear about the homegoing of a very special person. Karen had so much strength & faith in God. I worked with her for a little while at C&P/ Bell Atlantic/ Verizon. she never lost faith in God. I saw her about a year ago still singing for the Lord. She hugged me, not knowing it will be the last hug on this earth. Rest in Peace Karen. Always remember Love never dies. She will always live on in our Hearts. My Mother and I worked with Karen many years ago and I have fond memories of her and her smiling and singing. She loved her kids and would share photos with me as we caught up with each others lives. I would like to extend my deepest smypathy to your family. It's been 30 plus years since I saw Karen, we went to school together at Grange Hall/Clover Hil, those were the days. I still see her smile and dimples and I can hear her singing still. Karen will be missed but never forgotten.

Despite Karen and I differences, I admired how she continued to live through the lost of both of her children as well as fighting a great fight with beating cancer, she never gave up. Dennis, Ms. Vinnie & the Family:
Words cannot truly express my feelings for the homegoing of my loving Sister Karen. We have shared so much during my time at Tabernacle, especially since I became a part of the Cancer Support Ministry.
I know that the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing that Karen has entered in with no more pain and no more cancer (though talking to her you'd never know she was going through anything).
Karen was not just a friend but a sister whom I loved dearly. We've shared many "sofa" conversations after we both woke from our naps.
Dennis, Ms. Vinnie & Mary, you were always bright and shining and ever ready to lend a hand to Karen and whomever was visiting. Your love and care for Karen meant more to her than words could ever describe.
I pray that with each passing day, God will continue to guide you and give you his strength to endure. For you know that you have truly served her well.
"Miracles and Blessings" will forever ring in my heart, as I hear Karen sing with such anointing, as she knew that every miracle and blessing she received, came straight from the Lord.
Finally, know that whenever we ask God why did our sweet Karen have to endure so much, remember her words of "why not me."
Know that I will continue to lift the family up in prayer and if there is anything you need of me, please do not hesitate to ask.

I worked with Karen at Verizon and we talked about the Lord many times. Though Karen and that smile of hers with those big dimples will be missed here on earth, she is home now with the Father. I am sure she was greeted with "well done, my good and faithful servant"

Momma Karen,
You are a heavenly angel now all majestic and cancer free.
While you were here on this earth you meant a great deal to me.
The race you ran while you were here was one filled with style and grace.
God loaned you to us for a while, now it's time for Tonya and Troy to see your face.
During your challenge with sickness you always had an uplifting word for someone to hear.

Daddy Dennis and Grandma Veenie said they are doing alright.
That is because they know you are with the Lord and you no longer have to fight.

To the family of Karen Bagley,
I was sorry to hear of Karen's passing. At the same time my soul celebrated because I knew Karen to be a strong woman of faith and deep, uncompromising convictions. It was such a relief and a pleasure to have one of God's soldiers in the workplace. I remember the morning of 911 when concern and panic was just beginning to circulate around the center. It was Karen who approached me and said get the saints together, we have to pray - and we did. She is in the arms of Jesus now - Heaven has another strong soldier.

I met Karen over thirty years ago. We quickly became very good friends and shared many good moments together. Karen was a very easy person to love.
