STEPHENS, Marie B., 87, of Shanghai, Va., died Wednesday, August 20, 2008. She retired from Bethlehem Steel as a secretary after 30 years of service. Her son, J.C. Stephens Jr., preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Jesse Stephens; a son, Edward Stephens and his wife, Jolene; and their three children; a grandson, Jerry Stephens and his wife, Janice, and their five children; a sister, Virginia B. Keating and her husband, Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Va. The family will receive friends tonight, 6 to 8 p.m., at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va.
