David Michael Stratton

David Michael Stratton, 70, of Toano VA, passed away November 3rd, 2025. David was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time in the woods with his family identifying plants, trees and animals. Throughout his lifetime one could find him in numerous watermelon patches and hayfields throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 18 years, Gloria Stratton; and two brothers William Stratton and Bobby Stratton.
David is survived by his two sons, Travis Stratton and Benjamin Stratton; three grandchildren, Austin, Levi and Addison Stratton; his brother, Charles Stratton; his sister, Linda Hawkins; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM, Thursday, November 6th at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
