Mary Theresa Long Ballard

BALLARD, Mary Theresa Long, 95, of Center Cross, Va., departed this life, September 4, 2008 in a local nursing home. She is survived by her sister, Constance Long of Center Cross, Va.; three nieces, Delores Coleman, Delores Carter and Lynette Long; four nephews, Arthur L. Lane Jr., Eddie Lane and Howard Robinson, all of Philadelphia, Pa. and Walter Griffin of Washington, D.C.; and one aunt, Mary Ware of Philadelphia, Pa. Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 10 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock, Va. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Angel Visit Baptist Church, Dunnsville, Va. Rev. Dr. Carla Lightfoot, pastor, officiating, Rev. Leo Wagner, eulogist. Interment in the church cemetery.
