Family,
Mr. Floyd will be greatly missed by all because he was the pillar that held the foundation together. His love was so great and strong, yet he was gentle and very giving.
Cry if you must but know that he is no longer suffering and there's no more pain. He will always be with you in your hearts.
He visited me in my dreams and we had a nice talk, it was very nice and he is fine...to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2Cor 5:8.
God Bless you all.

Uncle Floyd,
My heart is filled with sadness and pain due to your passing. A lost not only felt by your children and grandchildren but also by my grandma Lucille. You proved your love and dedication to your siblings by demanding close contact and hour long phone conversations. I grew up hearing those conversations and admiring your need to stay verbally connected to your family. The ones left behind are aching and Lucille has lost her "talking buddy". My pain is eased by knowing that once again you will be able to communicate with your perished love ones in heaven.
The conversations will never end...

Uncle Floyds' heart of gold stop beating,
He could not stay another day,
It's hard for us not to grieve,
But trust in the LORD and we all will be okay.
Good times we all have had with him,
Wheter it was love, laugh, or play,
So any tasks that were left undone,
Don't worry, just let it be that way.
The road got tougher and hard to climb,
He has left a beautiful family behind,
So don't burden your times with too much sorrow,
And I surely wish you all sunshine for tomorrow!

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

TO UNCLE FLOYD
GOD KNEW YOU HAD TO LEAVE US SOON,
HE ALSO KNOWS WHAT'S BEST,
YOU HAVE LIVED AND LIVED AND LIVED YOUR LIFE,
HE SAID IT'S TIME TO REST.
SOME WEARY HOURS, SOME DAYS OF PAIN,
SOME SLEEPLESS NIGHTS HAVE PASSED,
AND NOW YOUR WORN-OUT BODY,
HAS FOUND SWEET PEACE AT LAST.
THOUGH YOUR VOICE IS GONE FOREVER,
AND YOUR HANDS WE CAN NEVER
TOUCH,
WE WILL REMEMBER ALWAYS UNCLE FLOYD,
THE JOY AND LAUGTER YOU BROUGHT TO US.
BUT THE TIME HAS COME TO SAY GOOD-BYE,
ALTHOUGH IT'S HARD TO DO,
WE SAY "SO LONG", FAREWELL, UNCLE FLOYD!!!
GOD KNOWS WE'RE GOING TO MISS YOU.
