Bianca, Anne and I were so sorry to learn of Jim's death. We left for our annual family vacation on September 6, 2008, and stayed for a week. We stopped the newspaper while we were gone. That explains how we missed the notice in the paper.
Jim was an outstanding man that was well respected by his staff and colleagues at work. We appreciate his service to our country. His word was his bond and you could always rely on the information he provided. But most of all, he was a great husband and father and loved his family very much.
I am sorry we missed the funeral. We hope you and James Jr. are doing well.

Bianca - Jim will be missed so much by us - especially working in his yard and being such a wonderful person to chat with. He always had time and would share his experiences of life with us. If you need anything - we're just a phone call away and we will continue to check on you.
