Dear Uncle Joe,
I miss you very much! As my Godfather you always appreciated my imitations from the Godfather movies. My favorite visit with you was when I drove down from Alexandria with my dog "Giuseppe" (little Joe) in the car to see you & my cousins. You laughed that you and my dog had the same name :)
Thank you for the great influence you have left on our family & all of our memories we shared with you-like our dance at Canaan Valley. You have left an amazing legacy!

Uncle Joe, one of my fondest memories of you is at your home during our Family Reunion when I was about 13 years old. You taught me how to really eat steamed crabs. They still remain one of my favorite foods.

Uncle Joe and I met in September 1958, at Mother and Roderick's house when Sherman and I were newlyweds. We became friends immediately,and he started a private joke between us which we shared over the next 48 years (the
last time we talked on the phone).
To Uncle Joe, one of my Favorite People- I'll miss you.
