My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this time of sorrow for the lost of your love one. He was so proud of Company M and I was so glad he got to go to the reunion this year.May God bless you all in the coming days.

You have my deepest sympathy. I took Mr. Cannon's place on the Auxiliary Volunteer schedule at the Hospital Gift Shop when he was no longer able to work.. I have been privilaged to know his wife Edith, sister-in-law Ethel and Amy from seeing them at the Modern Beauty Shop(June and Virginia's shop). What nice people. God bless you all in your time of sorry.

Faithful to his church and to his nation, William Cannon was as straight as an arrow and as deliberate and forthright as was his walk. That he was known as William--and not Bill or Billy--was indicative of the seriousness with which he viewed all things that are life. His community and his family will miss this stalwart of one of America's greatest generations.
