Dr. Alvin Eugene Conner

CONNER, Dr. Alvin Eugene, died on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Caton Merchant House, Manassas, Va. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Ann Conner. He is survived by his children, Samuel Kahle Conner and wife, Melinda, of Burke, Va., and Sally Jane Conner of Bridgewater, Va.; three grandsons, Samuel Kahle Conner Jr., Charles Benefield Conner and Henry Winston Conner; his brother, Carroll Conner of Manassas, Va.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Manassas Church of the Brethren, 10047 Nokesville Rd., Manassas, Va., on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Cannon Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Manassas Church of the Brethren or to the Margie Ann Conner Scholarship Fund at Bridgewater College, 402 E.
