I did not know Harriet very well but she was one of first people I met when I joined the WEAG choir. She was very kind. I visited her a few times in the hospital. I know she loved the Lord and is with Him. She was always in my prayers and her family remains so.

My deepest condolences to the Lofgren family. I met Harriet about 12 years ago at Sheltering Arms Pool. She was a very nice person who cared about her friends, FAMILY, and the LORD.
I admired Harriet's courage in her fight with cancer. She was always filled with joy and giving praises to Jesus. She had a good singing voice.
She will be missed by all.
The LORD has another angel.

Dear Jack, Heather & Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Harriett must have been a wonderful person. I used to enjoy her emails that she sent out, and have missed getting them. I knew Harriett only through her mother. Beth spoke of her often over the many years of our friendship. Beth taught me in HS 1973 and we were friends ever since. I am sure that Beth was there along with the Lord to welcome Harriett into heaven. May they both rest in the peace that only the Lord can give.

To Jack, Heather, and family...
There is no question that God lovingly places every one in our paths for reasons we will only know about until we go Home. But if I could second-guess the Lord, I would say that Harriett was his Warrior Woman to keep his commandment by giving out the Gospel, encouraging those of us struggling and stressed out, and always living each day with joy in her heart with the knowledge that she is one of His.
That Warrior spirit also sustained her and I would say, all of us, when we could not fathom how courageous and strong one could be during a battle not of her own choosing. What a fighter.
Isn't it comforting to know that Harriett finally has her dream...she can now sing all day long and do so for her Lord and Savior who never left her side.
Please let us know how we can help. Harriett has left big shoes to fill when it comes to joyfully and boldly sharing the Gospel with everyone and demonstrating to all of us what a good friend should be like.
We love you guys!

My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the family! Harriett was always so thoughtful of others. Harriett came by my grandmother's house every Christmas Holiday to see the lights and always told her to tell me "Hello" if Harriett didn't see me and asked how I was doing! I remember Harriett saying How much she loved coming by during the Holiday. She will be greatly missed!! She was a co-worker of mine from General Medical.

To The Lofgren Family,
I feel your loss so personally. Harriett was not only my friend, but like a second mother to me, the most courageous person I knew with such a lust for life here, yet such a yearning to join Christ when she knew her path was changing. Harriett's heart touched mine, and that ever so slight piece that I snuck away will always remain with me.
Harriett, I love you and will see again in Heaven!!!!!!

To the family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Harriett certainly demonstrated unshakeable faith each day of her life. What a blessing to have the spirit of witness; and hopefully, it is some comfort to the family to know she lives with her Savior from this day forward.
My love to you all.

Although I haven't known the Lofgren family very long, I have felt the love of Harriette and her family. She will be missed by the people who didn't know her for a long time, but were blessed to have met her and be blessed before God called her home.

Jack, Heather, and all the family:
May the Lord comfort you and guide you through this sad time, then raise you up as He did Harriett!! Her love was freely given to all who knew her and many who didn't. I know first hand by our friendship, which started when we met in the mid-1960's as part of 'Sing Out South' and 'Up With People' and continued for the last 40+ years. Please know that I am available to you anytime.

Dear Jack & Family -
I am so sorry for your loss. Harriet was such a witness to so many on how much she loved the Lord. She was so brave and she fought a very courageous battle. She loved her family so very much. You will be in my prayers.
