David, Sabrina and family:

I was very saddened to hear of Gloria's passing. I remember growing up, how she always welcomed us, your friends, into her home as "another mother." She was a wonderful person, and she will be truly missed. The entire Dunn family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Brant, Bonnie and Mitchell,
I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Dunn's passing. I know that you all have great faith and it will be the one thing to carry you through. Losing a parent is not easy and it takes much time to begin to heal. I do know that Brant is a fine man and I know that this must have come from being raised in a good home. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Let us know if we can do anything to help.

Much love,

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Gloria will be dearly missed here, but she is now at her eternal home with our Lord and Luther. So many wonderful memories of her; faithfulness, love, joy, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, peace, pot luck plates, etc. Her life demonstrated what it means to Love God, Love people and serve the world.

To my Favorite AUNT, I always loved spending time at your home, there was always something going on in the kitchen or some new craft being made. Your home made for laughter, fun and always a good meal with dessert. Not only was your home filled with love, but your heart was always open and welcoming without you having to say a word. I will truly miss you and miss your bold approach to life. A remembrance of you will always be in my heart and hopefully I will live a life as charitable and open handed as you have lived yours. I will miss you tremendously and miss that my daughter will not have an opportunity to know you the way I did.
