Sam, Jill and Emma,
My whole family is so saddened by the news of the death of Forrest. He was very special to us and touched our hearts forever. From the time that I met Forrest in middle school, I knew that God had placed him in my life, and I am very fortunate to have known him. He will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with you all in this sorrowful time in your lives.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory and Emma,
I was so sad when I heard the news about Forrest. I can't imagine what you are all going through and I'm so sorry! I remember playing outside with Forrest with all of the other neighborhood kids in Glen Gary when we were little, and I'll never forget them!! He was always energetic and full of life! I'm sad that he is no longer with us, but it makes me feel better knowing that he is with God and is in a much better place! I know he is watching over all of us and smiling every day! I am so sorry that you all are having to go through this terrible tragedy! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers!!!
Love,
Lindsey Pantele

Dr. Mr and Mrs. Gregory and Emma,
I was shocked today when I heard the sad news about Forrest. I taught him years ago science and can still see him sitting in my room with a smile on his face ready to learn. Please know that he held a special place in my heart for his kindness towards everyone. You and your family are in my prayers.

Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

Gregory Family,
I am sorry and saddened for your and our loss of Forrest. He was a great kid with a good heart and pretty good intentions. I am sorry I could not have always been there for him. Forrest had spent a good deal of time with my Parents, sister, girlfriend at the time, Grandparents, and friends each one of them had a place in their heart for him. We will all miss Forrest now that he is gone...

We were so sorry to hear of Forrest's passing, but please know that the thoughts and prayers of many are with you during this time. I can still see Forrest in his Cub Scout uniform, running around outside of Discovery UMC on Scout nights with Patrick and the rest of the gang! May God bless and comfort you all -- The Millers

Dear Jill, Sam, and Emma,
When I think of Forrest, I picture in my mind a cute little boy (wearing red or black Chuck Taylor hightops) who loved to play video games with Lindsey. I remember a child full of curiosity and loaded with straight-forward questions who wasn't satisfied with simplistic explainations.
I now picture him walking hand-in-hand with our Lord Jesus Christ surrounded by incomprehensible beauty! I see him smiling, peaceful and content because all of those questions have finally been answered. The unconditional love and grace of Christ has been bestowed upon Forrest and he is now experiencing unspeakable joy! He has been freed from the chains that bind us to this earthly life and is at peace.
As we say in the Orthodox Christian faith, "May his memory be eternal".
All of our prayers and love are with you all,
Mike, Kathy, Lindsey and Richard
