Winston Lee Gregory

GREGORY, Winston Lee, of 3207 Fendall Ave., departed this life September 20, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Gregory; mother, Mabel Gregory Coleman; father, Winston Lee Harris; sisters, Jane Jefferson and Ruby Gregory; and one brother, Earnest Gregory. He is survived by one son, Winston Lee Gardner; one daughter, Champayne Miller; stepdaughters, Denise Carter and Marjorie Fauntleroy; stepson, Ricky Johnson; grandsons, Jahiem Gardner, Keron Fowler and Myshawn Carter; granddaughters, Leshawn Gardner, Samara Fowler, Shoteece and Mikala Ford; great-grandson, K'shawn Carter; sisters, Irene Smith and Betty Lee of Richmond, Pauline Williams of New Jersey; brother, James Edward Gregory; brothers-in-law, Willie Williams and Kenneth Jefferson; sister-in-law, Florence Gregory; aunt, Earlene Rosey of Caroline County; uncle, Roosevelt Gregory; a host of nieces, nephews; one devoted niece, Irene Smith; and a devoted cousin, Diane Rousey. He was the grandson of the late Eddie and Eliza Gregory. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. from the W.S. Watkins Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave., Richmond, and where funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Carl U. Eggleston and Company, directing.
