Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory,
they'll live on in the heart.

To the Smithers Family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the opportunity to meet Alfreida and Aija through Girl Scouts and was blessed to get to know them over the years. Alfreida's mission here on Earth was fulfilled and she was called back home but the memory of her life will not be forgotten.

There is a season for all things. Very intelligent and very beautiful. Thats what I thought of her. I will miss her. I enjoyed working with her... Family...may God bless you and keep you in your time of loss. No words will ever be able to replace the love that you've lost, but find comfort in knowing that her pain in this life is over and God had a need to call her home. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Family
My deepest sympathy on the sudden loss of your loved one. Smithers or shall I say Alfreida, and I worked together in the Receiving dept with P.H.S. We were both nurses and we both had the same initials, but different names. I always loved working with Alfreida, because she was a good nurse and a hard worker. She always kept me laughing, and gave me advise about my fiance, now husband. Also, she always talked about her baby, which was her little girl. Alfreida was truly a dedicated mother. Trust in the Lord, stand and believe in the word, and He shall direct your path.

Alfreida,
I hope I spelled your name right this time. I miss you my friend. We have gone through marriages, children, divorces, name changes, and several relationships together. We shared good and bad times with each other. Whenever either one of us needed a shoulder to cry on, the telephone lines would burn up for hours. We are reflections of each other in so many ways. We have twin spirits. I wish you could've stayed earthbound with me a little longer, but it was time for you to go home. You brought so much light into everyone's world, but now we have to keep the flame burning for you. Well done, good and faithful servent. Rest in peace.

Darryl, Ms. Book, Tootie, Jesse, Henry, & Ms. Fannie,
Please know that I am thinking of all of you at the saddest possible time in your lives. You have lost a great mom, sister, & daughter. I have lost a best friend that was more like a sister to me. I know that you are missing her as am I, but we will see her again. I don't understand why she was taken, but I know she will rest in peace now. May God bless and keep you all safe.
