I have a lot of mixed emotions, but I know to trust God, for in Him, we live, move and have our being. Lil bruh, I love you and will truly miss you. I will forever cherish all of the memories. I can remember like yesterday, the time we had a two hour text conversation, and you was coaching me on how to loose weight…because you had lost a lot of weight and I was so impressed! Then at the end of the conversation, you asked, “Unk how much do you weigh anyway?” When I replied that I weighed 135lbs, you told me if I lost weight I would wither away. LOL…so you told me instead, to just lift weights and build muscles. I still don’t have any muscle, but I’m going to try!! Anyhow…I could name many things that we would all miss about you, but I’d never get to finish. Please know that your memory will live on. You have reminded us all to love one another, cherish one another, and to encourage one another. Your battle is over…it’s in God’s hands now. You’re at peace and that is very comforting to know. hey erica ..i ran into you a few times at club colors and although i didn't know you very well..i felt like i had ta show my respects to you and your family so i went to your funeral...it was very beautiful and by the large crowd of people that showed up I just know you were and always will be loved. I remember passing Erica in the hallways, bathroom, lunchroom and classrooms at Hermitage HS. She will greatly be missed, remembered and loved how she was. We can only remember the good times and forget the bad. I was in disbelief when I heard the news, but some people are called on by GOD for a reason. Yes, He did need another Angel and Erica met the qualifications. I know she is in a better and much safer place than she was here on earth. I remember seeing Erica as a little girls when we first starting looking for houses in Dove Hollow. She and my daughter Brittany sat on the crub that day and talked like two little old ladies. Later they went to school together, through high school. I watched her grow into a beautiful young lady with her whole life ahead of her. My entire family was in shock to hear of death. Erica you will be greatly missed ii didnt know u to well but i am aquainted with Chelsea who loves u very much and i love her to the bottom of my heart and for her to show and intrest and be in love with you to the extent that she was makes you a very special person and u are missed and loved greatly there are a clan of people hurting right now because of your loss and i know that u are in a better place because u were such a sweet person my condolences go out to your family and friends me being one of them and u will greatly be missed baby girl!!!

I opened my eyes this morning. Just thinking about what was ahead for today. Knowing that you are really gone is hurting me inside. It made me reflect on life. We are all put in a book. Each and everyone of us has a chapter. And even at times are chapters may intertwine with one another. And by God, I was blessed for us to pass by each other.
Its so hard for someone who was so nice, so sweet, full of energy, to leave us so sudden, so young. We all miss you. And I know I can speak for everyone on that. Everyone will ask why? what happened?. More questions, really no answers. The only thing we will know and be sure of is that ERICA GIRL!! you are in a better place, away from more heart break, away from pain, away from those stressful days. Now your new found life is full of nothing but joy. I guess we are all being selfish for wanting your smiles and happiness to be with your family and Us friends. I’m hurt disappointed and I cant stop myself from crying or looking at your picture, or just thinking about how we acted up in the club lol those good times.
But when its time for my chapter to end here and open up to my new found life up there with you. I can actually rest knowing ill be with you.

My heart goes out to you on the loss of Erica. So many of us loved her, and will miss her dearly. She was like a second daughter to me, and I welcomed her to my home as such. When she visited, she always looked for something good to eat, even if it meant that I had to split my meal in half to share it with her. As I fussed, I gave her what she wanted. She spent many nights at my home also.
Just know that God will bless and keep you, and will make His face to shine upon you and give you peace. If you need me or Ami, just let us know! We are there for you both. We will miss Erica with all our heart.

God bless you and your entire family. I had the pleasure of meeting Erica when she was a student at Hermitage High School. She fellowshipped with us at St. Peter Baptist Church at our bowling nights. I remember her as a happy teenager with lots of life. I know you will miss her. The loss of a child can be so difficult to understand.
