POWELL, Margie Dickerson, 65, of Keysville, entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Carlton E. Powell; a son, Kenneth Powell and wife, Renae; a daughter, Cynthia Powell Mason and husband, Alan; four grandchildren, Katelyn Powell, Ryan, Jonathan, and Evan Mason, all of Keysville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansford and Grace Dickerson; a brother, Charles Dickerson; and a twin sister, Margaret Dickerson Adams. Margie was a dear friend to many. She loved the Lord and her church. She was the pianist of Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, and served as the President of the United Methodist Women. She brought joy to the lives of those she touched, and dearly loved her husband and family. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, at the Browning Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, in Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, 4382 Crab Orchard Rd., Keysville, Va. 23947, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 533, Charlotte C.H., Va. 23923. The Browning Funeral Home in Keysville is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Mr. Powell, Cindy, Kenny, and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will miss seeing Margie when visiting Keysville in the summers. I loved Margie and will miss her. She is an Angel in Heaven for sure. God Bless you all and keep you in His care.
