My memories of Carol date back to our freshman year at VUU when we were room-mates. She was a very studious person, who also knew how to have fun. Carol will always be a fond memory. May God keep her memory alive with her family and a host of friends.

Having known Carol since the early days growing up in the St. James community, I can honestly say that she was always one to be admired. She spoke and read with such clarity and ease. I remember listening to her in church (years ago) and aspiring to become as eloquent in my speech and demeanor as she was in hers. As time passed she grew even more poised and gracious.
Carol was always a beautiful person--inside and out. Our loss is truly Heaven's gain. Let us forever be thankful... for having been blessed with her presence in our family. I love you all.

Carol and I were friends for well over 30 years, we started out as neigbors but became the best of friends. She was a very good person with a heart of gold so full of love and she always kept you laughing. She was like a sister to me and her son is like a son to me. May she REST in PEACE.
Love always, Claudette Hughes & Family we will miss you.

I cannot express what the loss of Carol has been like for her CASA family. She was the constant star here. Anthony, I will miss the conversations your mom and I would have about raising sons and how she would get that little twinkle in her eye when she said your name. She so enjoyed telling us about Brittany and how she was growing and how it would "tickle"her to hear some of the things Brittany would say and do. Hopefully in time, the many memories you have of her will return your smile. Jimmy, our thoughts are with you as we remember fondly your wedding day and the joy that was clearly present. How fortunate I am to have known Carol in all of her dedication to her family, community and CASA. What a lady. With love, Peg

Rev. McCall & Family,
In the past two years that Carol served as my CASA supervisor, she became a true friend. Quiet spoken, pleasant and always non-judgemental, surely she is an Angel in heaven now. I will miss her. May the Lord be with all of you at this sorrowful time.

What a truly wonderful lady. Oh how she will be missed. Carol was my Case Manager at CASA and provided me with so much of herself in mentoring me as a new volunteer. We all should be as committed to a cause as much as Carol was to the CASA program. She left us much to soon but we will keep her in our hearts as we continue her work at CASA.
